After Church Together has been our 6th - 12th Grade group since it began. Recently the Youth were called upon to come up with a new name. Sunday, August 14th 31 youth and 11 adults gathered for the first Sunday morning Youth service and to reveal the new name "The Jeremiah Crew 24-7".
The name comes from Jeremiah 24:7, which says (NIV), "I will give them a heart to know me, that I am the LORD. They will be my people, and I will be their God, for they will return to me with all their heart." And because they will be for God 24 hours a day 7 days a week. We are excited about the new name and all that God is doing with the Rock Church Youth.
Our young people are taught the importance of putting God first in their lives. With all the circumstances our teenagers are asked to manage today, our goal at TJC 24-7 is to make sure they are armed with practical, biblical principles so that they will do right in all things. TJC 24-7 also gives our young people a place to hang out and enjoy fellowship amongst their peers after church.
